"What Has United Kempo Karate Schools done for my family? With the whole family being involved, it has given us a sense of being together as a family. Whether we are at the dojo, practicing at home, or just talking aobut karate in our house, it is something we all enjoy.

For a 16 year old boy to sit and talk with his parents about something other than being lectured about drugs, gangs, and grades and other pressures that face teenagers these days is rare. My son's respect for me and my husband, his teachers and others has improved greatly. His grades have also improved 110%! His self-confidence, self-esteem, and maturity have been up at levels some teenagers never see.

My 19 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with ADHD and is Moderatley Mentally Handicapped is also a student. She has always had a low level of self-esteem and confidence. Those are improved to levels I thought I would never see. She is smiling more, and carries herself with confidence. She can focus on the training through the method and of training Master Mattocks has showed her.

My husband has gained confidence with his training. He is getting much needed exercise along with having fun. His patience with teenagers and others has improved greatly.

I have been having a great time learning karate along with learning to relax and gain my patience back. The training is great exercise, stress reliever, and a great way to make new friends.
